Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Overview
Effective October 30, 2026.
Some state laws, including Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data law, give special protection to "consumer health data." Because people sometimes describe hair or scalp concerns when using the Site, this policy explains how Bio Creative Labs handles that kind of information. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Hair ResQ products are cosmetics. The Site does not provide medical services, and we do not ask for medical information.
Consumer health data we may receive
We do not intentionally collect consumer health data. The only place you might share it is the Hair ResQ Assistant, if you choose to type something about your hair, scalp or health (for example, that you have noticed shedding).
Please do not enter medical details, diagnoses, medications or other sensitive information into the Assistant.
How Assistant questions are handled
- Purpose: your question is used only to generate a reply to you in that moment.
- Processing: it is sent securely to our AI service provider (Anthropic), which processes it on our behalf under contract and does not use it to train its models.
- No storage by us: we do not store, log or keep your question text, and we do not link it to your email, name or any profile.
- On your device: the conversation is kept in your browser for the current session only and clears when you close the tab.
Your rights
You may have the right to confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, to access it, to request deletion, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not store Assistant questions, there is normally nothing for us to access or delete; you can clear your conversation by closing the tab or clearing your browser data. To make a request or ask a question, email legal@biocreativelabs.com. You may appeal a decision by replying to it.
